Bring me back

Not that I don't realise I haven't been blogging for months, it's just that, I don't know where should I start. As time goes by, life has a way of rearranging itself. People enter your life, people leave as well. Eventually, you will come to realize things are different, you are as well. You have achieved your goal. You keep moving forward. Later, there comes a time you look back over where you have been and what you have done. You wonder who you really are. Wondering it's that the goal that you want to achieve.

Ah well, I think I need some new goals to keep myself moving forward.

Sick again!

I'm not being lazy to blog but just busy with in laws visiting, shopping for home stuffs, new job and checking out our new house every alternate day. We're only be at home at 11pm or so everyday since 2weeks ago.

Probably and definitely that we're not enough of sleep and rest, I'm sick again within the same month! I'm not the only one this time, Nel're sick too. Had sore throat, running nose and counghing our lungs out!!! The doctor even threatened Nel that if he did not recover within 5days, he has to go back for a checkup because H1N1 is coming back!

Anyway, we are feeling a lot better now. So I guess no H1N1 for us!!! Finger crossed.

It's Easter

Still a little dizzy and not recovered yet due to lack of rest. Went to the Home Exhibition yesterday after the birthday party. Today, I've been dragged to the church for the Easter service. I was at Vienna last year Easter. Nel and I love the Easter market there. Wonder when will I get a chance to visit another country Easter market again? :)

Nalyssa's Birthday

Nalyssa is turning TWO this year. I wasn't around last year. So I have to make it this time even though I'm not fully recovered from flu. Kids nowadays are so lucky! Look at her cake! I don't even have a cake for my birthday when I was young. All I can remember was my mom gave me a big chicken drumstick on my birthday. Ha Ha, or an red egg (红鸡蛋）

Sick

I'm sick. Fell sick on Wednesday after having lunch with my friend. Sneezing non-stop at night. Then I was having fever yesterday. Feeling better now and craving for porridge but have no idea where to get it. I guess I have to wait for Nel after his work, hmmm, wonder when he'll be back. Starving.

Lunch @ Pasta de Gohan

Had lunch with my girlfriend today. We went to Pasta de Gohan. We chatted for 3hours :p

Food is not bad and I couldn't finish the whole portion of pasta. A little bit pricey though.

Drinking session

Went to La Bodega for our drinking session on last Saturday. I was so sleepy cos my friend promised to pick me up at 11pm but he came at 12.15am. *Yawn*

Seriously, I scare people will punch me :p

I don't think the recent famous drink which is most of the Malaysian would rank it as their favourite beer - Hoegaarden taste nice. I don't like it. I prefer Paulaner or Killkenny.

We then headed to Club Twenty One at Changkat Bukit Bintang.

Saw two men fighting right in front of me when we left the club. Maybe I'll be hurt if I were walking one step faster. They're very fierce and one of them was bleeding a lot. Nel quickly pulled me away and we left the scene.

It was 4am when I was at home. Darn tired.

Bak Kut Teh for breakfast

Our new home is under the town of Subang Jaya & district of Damansara. However, Syabas at PJ don't accept our application & the staff advise us to go to Syabas office at Klang to apply for water supply. Weird -_-

We went for breakfast after that. Bak Kut Teh for breakfast. We have no idea which was the famous one and simply pick one - Restaurant Teluk Pulai. It was full house when we're there at around 10.30am. Klang ppl really like to take Bak Kut Teh for breakfast, huh. Isn't it too heavy for breakfast? Maybe once in a while would be nice :)

Question

What do I want to do with my life? Have you ever thought about this?

I don't know what's the answer. All I know is I'm not very happy and not 100% satisfied with my life right now.

P.S. I'm not gonna start work next week. I've rejected the offer. Again.

Sunday Dinner @ Stargrill

We had our dinner at Stargrill, a German restaurant in Taipan. However, the decor is nothing like German and the place is a bit warm. There was only two tables occupied when we walked into the restaurant. I guess they turned off the air-con to save electricity.
The food was mediocre and the sausage tasted like they boiled it instead of grill. I would rate it as "I won't be back for second time" category. The mushroom soup was very nice though.

Gathering with the girls

Met my ex-colleagues for lunch. Haven't seen them for 3years!

They are the funniest girls I have ever met. Too bad I have to leave that time; we used to be very good before I went to Ireland :) They're still working for the same company. 2 of them are going to resign soon. I salute them for working there for a good 3yrs, working at a large audit firm is not fun at all.

We went to Wong Kok char chan teng for lunch. Is it me or their food had turn bad?

It's my 3rd time visit and the food quality was lousy.

It was nice to catch up with all the girls. However, I heard a bad news from one of them.

I hope she knows what to do as all of us disagree with the path she chose!

You have my best wishes in finding someone you really deserve :)

Muffin + Yogurt

Had muffin & yogurt drink for my breakfast on this lovely Friday morning. These days gonna end soon.

One more week to go, I'm back to the corporate world. The corporate world in M'sia. I think everything will be fine except the traffic!! I hope it won't be too bad for me.

Colour Theme

We've decided to do a minor renovation of the dry kitchen and keep the rest of the areas in the house as they are. Repaint the walls to get a fresh look. It's not completely like what we have in mind about our dream house, at least we can save some money there, happy :D

We've booked the sofas, dining table, mattress & bedframe, TV console & coffee table. We're still looking for bedframe for our guest room so that my in-laws will have a comfy place to stay whenever they're here. Oh ya, and the display cabinet, haven't seen one that suit our taste!

As for the colour theme, we're thinking to go with earth tone like brown, latte, white theme initially. However, when we think about it again, we wanted something different. Thinking-in-progress :p

Busy Days

We've got a busy week. Shopping for mattress & home furnitures. Meeting contractor for house renovation. Meeting my insurance agent for policy amendments. Meeting a friend who came back from UK for holiday at a Korean BBQ restaurant.
Our house, our wedding, his job, his chartered engineer exam, furnitures shopping, and me starting to work soon.

Good News

We got our house keys. I am excited and panic at the same time.

It's the spending time now. Sob Sob.

I've been waiting. I'm suppose to get it before CNY.

He promised that. The lawyer promised that and I'm still waiting for it now.
Sigh.

梦想婚礼？

从小，朋友们都在想她们要怎样的男朋友和她们的梦想婚礼。

我从来都不参与，也搞不懂为何他们要去想呢？。这是控制不了的嘛。所以，我根本没什么想法。

有些说要在游艇举行，有些说在沙滩举行， 还有公园式婚礼。

我？要简单的！但是也需要依照家人的想法。

他们都说 “随便嘛，这是你的婚礼！” 当你告诉他们你的想法，他们却说这样不行，那样不行！随便？根本就不随便！他们根本没把我的想法听进去。

老公是沙巴人，那沙巴一定要有一场。老爸要在他的家乡举行，老妈要在吉隆坡举行！我是一个没选择权的新娘。筹备的事，我一定要做，想法却是他们的。唉，说到最后，最随便的那个是我！我只是希望不会有人不高兴。

我好希望一切快一点结束，挖一个洞，然后自己钻进去。呵呵 -_-

正说谓，人在江湖，身不由己呀！

CNY at Tawau

It's my first time to celebrate Chinese New Year at Tawau. Weather is extremely HOT and nothing much to do over there. Visited Nel's relatives. Had fabulous dinner. Caught up with long lost friends (not my friends but his). Watched a lousy movie at the lousy cinema. There goes the CNY. Are there any better things to do during CNY? I guess there's none.

Shabu Shabu Steamboat

We tried something new and it was recommended by Jackson. I'm gonna called this - steamboat restaurant for lazy people :p

They called it Japanese style steamboat but nothing was related to Japanese food except the conveyor belt was used. I suppose that's the reason of it :)

Each of us has a personal steamboat pot.

No walking. No queuing. You just need to grab the food you like when you see it, in front of you. Convenient, isn't it?

The food was serve in small portion. 2pieces in a plate. 2pieces of fish fillet, 2pieces of dumpling, 2 pieces of fishballs! If you want more, you gotta grab more.

It costs about RM27 per person. Nothing to shout about but no complaint.

Big Headz

To date, I have only 23stamps, 17stamps to go. The event is going to end on 24th February :(

I think I couldn't make it to redeem this big headz soft toy. I think the giraffe is cute.

Korean Food

This is an outdated post :p

A few weeks ago, I had dinner with one of my friend at this Korean Restaurant located at 1st floor, above McD ss15 Subang Jaya. I couldn't remember what was the name of the restaurant.






We took the pork + lamb set, it came with 2 glasses of watermelon juice, all the little refillable dish, fruits and rice tea. It was okay. The food is not too bad.

My friend said I should take more Korea food so that I'll eat some vege :p

Home furnitures

This weekend is about home furnitures and electrical appliances. We have been searching around for the best deal and have shortlisted a few items we like and also staying within budget!

We're heading off to some furniture shops tomorrow. Besides that, we need to look for a restaurant! Happy Friday :)

有工作了

可是我拒绝了，哈哈！

就是昨天我刚刚blog 的那份工作。

他们那么多顾虑，真不明白为什么要请我，还说要我带一位 junior!

所以，我还是一名无业游民·····

Interview I

今天去了interview.

好久，好长的 interview ···从两点半到五点。

还要做100题英文MCQ，一篇essay.

40题IQ test.

两次 interview。

Interviewer分别是三个男人和一个女人。

可是我不是很喜欢这间公司，interviewer 问的问题很不专业。

第一，因为我已婚，他们怕我会怀孕。

太好笑了，我告诉他们我没有这个打算（事实上，我自己也不敢确定）

要是有另一个candidate和我一样年龄，未婚，他们也不能保证请了她之后，她不会结婚生子？

第二，其中一个interviewer问我你驾车来吗？我说是。

他说 "Can ar? No problem ar?

我觉得很奇怪，于是我问他 "What do you mean?"

他答 "You got license ar?"

我说···当然有，我离开两年半而已，我不是外国人，我是马来西亚人，好吗？

第三，他们怕我再离国！

第四，他们怕我适应不到KL culture!

他们也怕太多了吧？难道他们没有看我的CV吗？怕那么多，还要叫我去interview?

百思不得其解！

一月一日

我们去了云顶。为了只是想要享受冷冷的天气。

逛了一下，我们就去吃 buffet，慢慢吃，聊聊天，就吃了三个小时。

然后，又逛了一下，又去酒吧坐了一下。

这里的Guinness好难喝！

2009年的最后一天

我踩到狗粪！妈啊，臭死了！

那条路乌漆马黑的，谁会盯着马路看，走路当然是往前看嘛！

就这样，我中招了。

我踩到后，不但没发现，还走进车里。

整辆车都臭死了。

我带着这臭味迎接2010的到来，够特别了吧？
