What happens in Vegas

After watching the movie, I have one thing to say!

I WANT TO GO LAS VEGAS!
I WANT! I WANT!
LAS VEGAS! LAS VEGAS!

Who doesn't wants to experience the SinCity?
I always love big cities! Come on! I grown up at the city!

By the way, anyone remember the line which Cameron Diaz said in the movie?
"I would rather do nothing and be happy, than do something that I don't love!"

Are you doing what you love at?
I am still learning :)

A hefty 500,000 pounds!!!

Do you believe this??
.
.
.
Wait!!! Don't tell me you really believe this!!!

I don't know who is Mr David Bent. What I do know this definitely is a scam!

Mr David, eventhough I'm not smart, I am not a fool though!

Every Sunday

We'd wake up at around 9am almost every weekend.

While taking our breakfast which is typically either Chinese dim sum or Spanish tapas with a cuppa, we'd usually watch the Sky Travel Shop tv programme and take the Sunday easy.

At the same time, watching the various interesting destinations being featured we'd question each other which are our favourite places to visit if given a chance.

Most of the time, we would end up wanting to go to every single destinations featured.

I prefer to go to city breaks and established tourist spots like New York and London;

He loves to adventure to more exotic places like Lapland tour and Carribean cruise.

In short we'll have to go all places no matter big or small, rural or metropolitan.

We'd have the same routine again during our tea time at around 4pm while watching another tv programme called The Travel Bugs by CNBC channel. hehe...

Although realistically we won't be able to visit all those places, we enjoy the relaxing tea sessions anyway ;)

London Must-Sees

Apart from Tower Bridge, Big Ben and London Eye, we had also visited some Must-Sees tourist spots.

1. Picadilly Circus

I just love the name, for no reason. Doesn't it sound so cool when you say to your friends "Meet you at Picadilly Circus!" as compared to "Meet you at Sungai Wang" ???
Ha-ha :D

2. Trafalgar Square

3. Buckingham Palace

We wanted to watch the ceremony of Changing the Guards at Buckingham Palace unfortunately it was cancelled due to the drizzly weather :(

Maybe next time :) We're going to London again in Jan.

We only managed to see a platoon of guards passing by and not sure where they were going?

4. British Museum

It was snowing when we was there. Can you spot the snow flakes on my Mr. N's hair?

Personally, I think there're more to see in British Museum than Madam Tussaud's.

The museum is huge! You could easily spend the whole day strolling around the different sections, reading the articles and captions for some history lessons and admiring various sculptures from Greek civilisation to British empire. What's better than if it's free of charge? Ya, there is no entrance fee charges!

Interesting sculpture? T-hee :D

I got to see the real Eygptian mummies!!!

5. Harrods

We went to Harrods! Alright, this is not a must-see tourist spot. It's a very luxurious shopping heaven!!!

At the food hall, foods are beautifully presented! This is not for display only, they are for sale.

Stuffs are extremely expensive!

I am missing London already !!!

Saturday, October 4

Yeah, it's Friday!

I met Nel at town after work.
We went to our favourite chinese restaurant.
We had crispy BBQ duck and Tau Foo with seafood for dinner. Yummy...mmmm~~~

Satisfied! I love my life here, simply because it's simple.

Have a great weekend!

Filthy Taxi Driver

I took a taxi to client's office today.
Guess what? The taxi driver farted in the car!!!!!!!
He farted! He farted!

Shouldn't he suppose to say sorry? Or at least feel a bit embarrassed, perhaps?
He did not!!!

Oh my god!!! At least he should have opened the windows, so that the smell would disperse more quickly!!!

He handed me his name card. And lo and behold...

His name is Pat!
That's the same as the manager from my office I blogged about last week.
Attention everybody, never ever go near to anybody whose name is Pat!!!

Yuckssss!!!!!

Thursday, October 2

Here it comes again!

It was freaking COLD today.

Along with the gusty wind, I almost die when I was waiting for the train.
T-hee, a bit exaggerated!
