Happening in July and August

Dinner with friends in Dublin

Visited a friend in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Went to Giant Causeway again and still couldn't believe the hexagonal rocks were formed naturally.

Dinner with housemate at one of the pubs in Dublin. Not sure whether I've mentioned it here before, Guinness here tastes good and actually ways better than those in Malaysia.

Went to Cork with Alan and Kher Sin, visited Blarney Castle. Nel kissed the Blarney Stone.

Visited an island in Greece

A trip to Turkey

A girls' night out

Went to Irish Greyhound and watched dogs racing with colleagues.

Had dinner with colleagues and it was the weirdest pizza I have ever had. Pizza with ham, achovies and boiled eggs. Yucks...

Had dinner at the oldest pubs in Dublin - The Brazen Head est.1198

A friend from Cardiff, UK was visiting us. Nel and I brought her around and visit some places in Ireland.

Hectic! Hectic! I don't how did we do this. So many trips, travelling, night outs and dinners with friends and colleagues!

Black Mulberry Wine Tonight!

I am going to taste the wine I bought in Sirince tonight! free image hosting

Sirince is a pretty hill town located near Ephesus in Turkey. We were there for a stroll, some shoppings and photography session after visiting Ephesus.

Sirince is renowned for its wines! The locals sell many types of fruit wine - such as the flavours of apple, strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, mulberry, peach, cherry, etc.

Most importantly, wine tasting sessions are free!!! I tasted many of them and chose blackberry at the end :) By the way, it costed 10 Lira (approx. €5) each bottle only!

Light at the end of the tunnel

No worries, there would appear to be some light at the end of the tunnel - Nel said. I've heard it a few times from him. His mindset and able to stay positive no matter what happens always amazes me!

I wish I can be like him. Think positive.
Who knows? You might be able to see some light at the end of the tunnel scuba diving in Phuket

Back from Turkey

37 °C is no fun at all. HOT and DRY.
My first impression towards Istanbul is Turkish men are very BUSUK!
Not all of them but most of them. Or maybe I am the unlucky one.
Everywhere I go, I can only smell some BUSUK smell of armpit
I guess it's too hot and they sweat a lot. But why can't they use deodorant!

Job Satisfaction

Where are you?

A few months ago, my company has decided to outsource some of the jobs as it's cheaper and save us lots of time. It's good that I am still being pay the same salary with much lesser work. But I am not as happy as I thought. I have been working on some small issues and paper work. I am not learning anything!

In Bruges

The movie I watched 2weeks ago.
Then, I came across an article about Bruges. A survey has conducted and guess what? Bruges came in the first most beautiful city in Europe, leaving Prague and Paris behind.

I was attracted to the beautiful scene when I was watching the movie.

Unbelievable pretty!

If you have not watch the movie yet, do check it out. Then you'll know how pretty it is.
And Collin Farell is funny too :)

P.S Collin Farell is an Irish actor from Dublin.

Summer Holidays

Nel and I are going to a slightly different type of holiday this time.

Since 2 years ago, we have been eyeing on the summer holidays packages offered by local travel agencies as they seem to be very cheap and affordable. It's just extremely irresistible.

There'd be no more churches nor cathedrals! No more European castles and palaces!

We are hitting the sunny and sandy beach!! Woohoo!!! scuba diving in Thailand

For a package price of €250 - €500 per person (depending on destination), you get to :

- returning flights from Dublin including land transfer to your resort
- 7 nights accommodation at a 3* or 4* hotel resort
- bathing under the sun in Tenerife
- or escape away from your normal rountine in Gran Canaria
- or the Spanish island of Majorca
- or the fabulous beaches in Algarve in Portugal
- or the Greek island of Crete
- or Cyprus
- or see the views on camelback in Egypt
- or hundreds more sun destinations!

There are so many options to choose from! Most Irish love to visit the beaches in Spain like Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Majorca and Costa del Sol. Perhaps it is because the Spain packages are among the cheapest and most reasonable, and the weather is excellent and it's also nearer to Ireland.

The price of the packages are cheaper than I thought.
I've just checked the prices from the agencies' website, and for a price of €335, I get to go Kusadasi in Turkey for 8-day-7-night!!! Including return flights and accomodation and breakfasts!

Great deal, isn't it?
