Old Town Square, Prague

Some say Prague is the most beautiful city in central Europe.
I can't comment much because I have not been to any other city in central Europe except Prague.

Prague or Praha is the capital city of Czech Republic.

They speak their own language.
They have their own currency.

We brought about 10,000 Czech Republic Koruny for our holiday.
Wait ..wait..wait! Do not think that we're rich.
One Euro = 25 Czech Republic Koruny
And that equate to 400euros.

As usual, Mr N and I always prefer to take it easy on the first day. We strolled around the Old Town Square at Prague.

I definitely love Prague more than Dublin. The atmosphere of the town squares and the medieval buildings are just so surreal and electrifying, as if we have gone back 500 years ago. Foods and goods are not as expensive as I thought.

We bought two public transport travel tickets which were valid for three days - UNLIMITED TRAVEL. It was only 9euros per ticket.

Wasn't it so cheap? (London travel card cost 20pounds for three days)

The ticket could be used on tram, bus and train; it basically covers every type of the public transport available in city centre.

I'd be excited walking on the streets and just watched the world goes by.
The credit went to the music played by street entertainers. They made the place alive!

I could vividly recollect the scene now while penning this blog ;)

It's so relaxing.

At night, we went to a pub and ordered a pint of beer each.

Budweiser Budvar - The well-known Czech Beer!

Nel returned to hostel that night with a BIG stomach full of beer because I managed to down half a pint only; and he finished off my portion as well.
