Redundant Redundant Redundant
These are by all means the hot topics in town recently!
Everyone is talking about it!
Nel and I just came home after having dinner with some Malaysian friends.
One of them has been made redundant several weeks earlier!
Fear is the word!
Everyone is worry of the uncertain economic climate in Ireland!
As for me, I was no different with the crowd and was worried too.
I am not worried anymore as I feel that I've been lucky enough to have a chance to live and work here :)
If unfortunately I have to return to Malaysia now, I would have no complaint.

The Astronomical Clock
We were waiting for the Astronomical Clock - a popular tourist attraction - to come alive. The clock was made sometimes in the 14th or 15th centuries, I think.
Each represents ...emmm..something?
I read it before; I could not remember nor understand how it works.
If you are interested, google it! You will definitely find some information on it :)

Having read some travel books on Prague, Nel was attracted by:
"The Walk of Apostles"!
Every hour, a series of figures/puppets impersonating the Apostles would show their faces through the 2 small windows above the clock.
It was nearly 12pm, everyone on our left and right, front and back were waiting for the moment to come. It was like a New Year eve countdown, but in the middle of the day under the Sun.
Feeling curious to see the works and craftmanship of this 500yrs old masterpiece, we are equally excited to witness this very special moment of our trip to Prague.

Presenting to you, The Walk of Apostles!
Translated version.
Mr N : That's the Apostles! Can you see them?Me: Yes, yes, yes!
Watching the Apostles parading one by one in front of the expectant gallery for 30 seconds, everyone of us were speechless; the Apostles have finished their business!
Mr N : Huh? Are everyone here waited so long just for this 30s show? Is that all? Is that all? -_-"
Me : Haha
Mr N : HAHAHA! That's all? Wasted my time!
Me : HAHAHAHA
The display windows were closed and the Apostles were gone!
In the end, Nel still couldn't believe it and kept asking "Is that all???? Is that all????"
I was eager to know the answer too!!! Is that all? Nothing else?
Old Town Square, Prague

Some say Prague is the most beautiful city in central Europe.

As usual, Mr N and I always prefer to take it easy on the first day. We strolled around the Old Town Square at Prague.
I definitely love Prague more than Dublin. The atmosphere of the town squares and the medieval buildings are just so surreal and electrifying, as if we have gone back 500 years ago. Foods and goods are not as expensive as I thought.
We bought two public transport travel tickets which were valid for three days - UNLIMITED TRAVEL. It was only 9euros per ticket.
Wasn't it so cheap? (London travel card cost 20pounds for three days)
The ticket could be used on tram, bus and train; it basically covers every type of the public transport available in city centre.

I'd be excited walking on the streets and just watched the world goes by.
The credit went to the music played by street entertainers. They made the place alive!
I could vividly recollect the scene now while penning this blog ;)
It's so relaxing.

At night, we went to a pub and ordered a pint of beer each.
Budweiser Budvar - The well-known Czech Beer!

Nel returned to hostel that night with a BIG stomach full of beer because I managed to down half a pint only; and he finished off my portion as well.

We did not went to gym at ALL!!!
To beat the guiltiness, I ran non-stop just now..nearly 40mins!
Nearly! So close! Nearly there.
It was 39mins
Sigh, I thought I gonna make it to 40mins :(
